Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) was established in collaboration with the University of Westminster (UK) and «UMID» Foundation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a Foundation established by the Edict of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 7 January 1997 to support the study abroad of talented youth of Uzbekistan.
